Brand Positioning, UX and Web Design


Following a competitive pitch, the Marketing Director of feather & black entrusted us with the task of consolidating and refreshing their brand, as well as enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of their website. The objective was to unify 10 years’ worth of brand collateral into a cohesive direction.

To begin, I delved into their brand positioning, meticulously analysing a decade’s worth of strategy and insights. The goal was to distill this wealth of information into a clear and concise vision that would purposefully position feather & black at the forefront of the luxury furniture market. Their target audience were homeowners seeking to furnish their second home.

Next, I identified the challenges related to effective signposting from an e-commerce perspective. This involved addressing elements such as color schemes, typography, imagery, icons, and interactions to drive traffic toward specific areas of the website. The aim was to create a seamless, upscale experience that would ultimately boost sales.

By combining strategic thinking and design expertise, we embarked on a comprehensive journey to revitalise feather & black’s brand identity and elevate their online presence. The result was a visually stunning website with improved navigation and an intuitive user interface, providing a refined and engaging experience for their target audience.
